We have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and have decided to cancel the 2021 GRACE Race given the current public gathering restrictions and the uncertainty of what will be in effect in early June.

As you can imagine, the need for recovery homes and the support they bring those who suffer from addiction is more important now than ever. Many of our residents have been furloughed or have lost their jobs. By canceling the race, we are limiting our income for ongoing expenses; however, we are putting safety above all and even if the social distancing restrictions are lifted by June, we are not comfortable gathering a large group of people.

We are in the process of shifting gears with our events for this year and will be rolling out a new and upcoming, soon-to-be announced series of virtual speaker webinars, called GRACE Speaks.

Thanks and stay tuned for more on this when we are ready to launch!

Whether you’ve watched a loved one struggle with addiction or have personally experienced a substance use disorder, we believe that everyone deserves a little Grace™. We invite you to come together with other walkers and runners from our community—supporting those who have lost a loved one to addiction and honoring those who are currently living in recovery. Save the date for the GRACE Race 5k (Saturday, June 6th, 2020) and together, we can make strides in improving the quality and availability of Oxford Houses™ in Missouri.
