I want to express my deepest gratitude to GRACE for their unwavering support in funding the outreach workers who have been instrumental in establishing Oxford recovery houses in the Kansas City area & in the state of Missouri. These houses are more than just a place to live; they are a lifeline for individuals like me who are on the path to recovery.

Oxford House saved my life! Before finding my way to an Oxford House, I was lost, struggling to find stability and a community that truly understood what I was going through. The support and structure provided by Oxford House gave me the foundation I desperately needed to rebuild my life. The people I’ve met along the way—my housemates, the outreach workers, and the broader Oxford community—are nothing short of amazing. They’ve become my family, offering unwavering support and encouragement every step of the way!

Without the outreach workers funded by GRACE, I wouldn’t have had the opportunity to join this incredible community. Their work is crucial in ensuring that others in need have the same chance at recovery that I did. I am eternally grateful for the role they’ve played in my journey, and I am committed to paying it forward through the Jordan’s Jumpstart to Recovery, a scholarship named after a dear friend & Oxford Alumni who tragically passed away from a fentanyl overdose. When Grace learned about what I was doing, they asked, “How can we help?”. Their support has been life-changing, and they are the reason we became an official nonprofit in the state of Missouri. Thanks to them, we have now helped over 8 individuals receive funding for housing & find the same hope and healing that I have experienced!

Thank you, In the Name of Grace, for your dedication to making a difference in the lives of those in recovery. Your support has changed my life, and I know it will continue to change the lives of countless others!

Sincerely,

Alexander Ahlschlager
