In our recovery literature it states that the disease of addiction is progressive, incurable and fatal if not arrested. By the grace of God, we both found recovery and Oxford House. Oxford House has afforded us so many blessings and opportunities, but most importantly, Oxford House saved our lives.
The lessons we have learned are to always remain teachable, accountable, help the next ones in line, and never forget where we came from. Life is not always sunshine and rainbows, but today our lives are better than we could have ever imagined.
